Who Brandian is for
Brandian is for the self-funded technology company in or around London, growing on its own cashflow, whose founder still decides where the money goes.
Where to start
If you run a self-funded technology company in or around London and the brand questions sit on your desk, Brandian is the right firm for you, and the sensible first step is small. A Brand Record measures how your buyer sees your brand before any brand work is proposed; an Inspection examines the one part of your brand where you see a problem.
Who this isn't for
If your company grows on raised money, the seed rounds, the funding announcements, and the world that comes with them, then Brandian is the wrong shop, and it's better to say so here than three meetings in. It's a respectable world with its own timetable and its own measures of progress: brand work there is judged by how it reads at the next raise. Everything Brandian does, the thoroughness and the measuring included, was built for the founder paying for brand work out of revenue, who needs to know what the money changed. Plenty of good agencies serve funded companies well, and Brandian isn't trying to be one of them.
If what you want is a logo by next month, a good freelancer will do it faster and for less, and that's the right buy for that timeline. At Brandian, a logo is one part of a brand identity built from your brand platform and measured in your buyer, and it's never sold on its own.
If your company is much larger, with a marketing department that owns its brand and marketing decisions, other consultancies are built for that structure, and they'll serve you better. And if you need commercial results by next quarter, nobody honest in this industry can sell you that, whatever their website says.
Buyers re-judge brands slowly. A branding firm that promises otherwise has noticed your urgency and priced it.

Who this is for
Brandian is for one kind of company: a self-funded technology business in or around London, growing on money earned from customers, where the founder still decides where that money goes. Usually, brand questions land on the founder's desk between everything else. If you run that company, the problems Brandian fixes will be familiar. Nobody ever handed you an announcement day or a list of famous backers, so when a cautious buyer looks you up, all they find is what you've built. Your company is probably better than it looks to that buyer.
And if you've ever paid for brand work, you probably couldn't say afterwards what the money changed, because nobody measured anything.
Brandian exists to fix those problems.
Most branding agencies answer the who-is-this-for question with a list of industries long enough to include yours. It's worth answering properly, because a bad fit costs both sides nine months.
So here are both answers: who Brandian is for, and who it isn't.
