When to buy this

After losing a deal, your debrief says the competitor "seemed more established", and you know their product is worse.

Someone is considering acquiring your business, and what you've got to show for your brand is a deck.

You're about to spend on brand work, from anyone, with nothing measuring where your brand stands first.

Each is about how your buyer sees you, and no one inside your business can settle it. You built your technology company on its own revenue; no funding announcement ever told your buyers what it is, so they decided for themselves. And whatever your brand claims about itself, your buyer's verdict is the one that decides deals. The Brand Record puts that verdict in front of you, measured from four directions, and every later one shows how it has changed and what changed it. Where you can't yet say which part of your brand is at fault, the findings say where the fault most likely lives.

Your Brand Record file

The Brand Record measures how your buyer sees your brand from four directions inside one fortnight, and carries the date it was delivered. Every Brand Record goes into your Brand Record file, an accumulating account of how your buyer sees your brand over time. Every Brandian service and solution includes two Brand Records, one before the brand work starts and one at the end of the project, so the change the work produced can be measured.

The file is where the value accumulates. One Brand Record tells you where you stand. Several, spread over time, show how your buyer's view has changed and what changed it.

Where your credit goes

Where the findings show a problem with your brand, the recommendations rank the corrections, and what you do with them is yours to decide: with Brandian, with someone else, or not at all. Any Brandian service or solution you go on to inside six months takes the Brand Record's full price off its first instalment, with the Brand Record as its opening measurement.

Where the findings show your buyer seeing your brand much as you intend, it's sound, the Brand Record has narrowed where to look next, and the recommendations say where. And if you already know which part of your brand is at fault, an Inspection examines that part alone.

The four measures

1

Customer survey: what your customers think of your brand, in their words and their scores.

2

Share of search: how often buyers look for you by name, against your chosen competitors.

3

AI visibility snapshot: what the AI assistants your buyers ask say you are, scored for accuracy and favourability.

4

Lost-lead research: why deals went to someone else, in those buyers' own words, from contacts you supply.

Brandian's Brand Equity Calculator turns the four measures into one scored profile, so your next Brand Record can be set against this one.

How the two weeks run

Day 0

One conversation settles what the survey and the lost-lead questions will ask, and gathers what the Brand Record needs from you: a few lost-deal contacts and your retention figures.

Day 1

You send the survey from your own mailbox: your customer list never leaves your systems, and a message from you gets opened where one from Brandian might not. The two weeks run from this day.

Day 14

The findings briefing with Luis, where your questions are answered. Each finding is headlined in plain consequence with its evidence beneath, graded for the weight it carries, and the recommendations ranked. The findings carry that day's date, and your further questions go to Luis by call or email, as many as you have.

Days 2 to 13

The survey collects, with one reminder at day seven, while the other three measures run. Fifteen usable responses make a scored survey; with fewer, the findings say so and lean on what came back, the other three measures and any published reviews, graded for what they can bear.

A test you can run this week

Open Google Trends, set it to the United Kingdom and the past twelve months, and enter your name beside your two nearest competitors'. If your line sits above theirs, buyers look for you by name more often than for them. If it sits flat while theirs move, buyers are finding them by name and you by chance, and the Brand Record puts a measured figure on that. If all three lines sit near zero, the test can't tell you anything, and the answer has to come from the other three measures in the Brand Record: what your customers, your lost deals and the AI assistants say.

Questions buyers ask

Should I buy this or an Inspection?

An Inspection examines one part of your brand you already suspect: the strategy, the identity, the portfolio, the voice or the AI answers. The Brand Record measures how your buyer sees the whole of it. Buy an Inspection if you already know which part is at fault. Buy the Brand Record if you can't yet say which part it is.

Does this commit me to buying anything else?

No. When the findings are bad news, you have them in writing, with the causes named, the evidence graded and the corrections ranked. What you do with them is your decision. If you do go on to a Brandian service or solution inside six months, the Brand Record's full price comes off the first instalment.

What if my customers don't answer?

Some won't, so the survey is built to be answered: Brandian drafts the invitation and the reminder, it takes under three minutes, answers can be anonymous, and every completed survey earns £10 for a charity you name, paid by Brandian. The invitation comes from you, with one reminder a week later, because a request from you carries weight. Whatever comes back by day 14 is graded for what it can bear, the findings say so plainly, and three of the four measures don't depend on the survey at all.

Who does the work?

Luis Defaz, personally, from the opening conversation to the briefing.

Does it carry the Performance Guarantee?

No. The Brand Record is a fixed-price measurement delivered inside two weeks; the Guarantee belongs to Brandian's services and solutions.

Can I cancel or postpone?

A Brand Record can't be cancelled or refunded, because the work is scheduled as soon as you buy; you can postpone it once, for three months at most. Inside six months, its full price comes off the first instalment of any Brandian service or solution.
