Our funder's idea has shaped in a solid way to brand.

After uni, I started my professional career as an in-house graphic designer in a company's Marketing department, moved on to trade marketing and soon enough I felt I wasn't making any impact. The reason? Quite simple: The life span of my creations was too short. 

 

While valuable for immediate sales objectives, the things I was designing didn't transcend. The time I put in to refining my concepts and visuals based on strategic thinking was often seen as unnecessary and I was even tagged by both my employer and their clients as a perfectionist (sadly, not in a good way).

Frustration filled my work life. My thriving to continuously improve my creations was actually seen as a liability. Clearly, I was in the wrong place.

I've always loved design, so I knew I needed to find a new line of work related to it. A place where my way of working - and nature - was actually valued.

 

That was, of course, branding. 

 

Magically, my eyes were opened. Branding isn't driven by urgency, it's an ongoing process that requires patience and constant care. Brands need a thorough conceptualisation framework and deep work when creating and building them.

Since I saw clearly what I wanted, the chances of getting it increased drastically. 

 

Along the way I was offered a lifeline, an opportunity to be a designer at FutureBrand, one of the largest and solid brand consultancy agency in the world. I immediately felt at home!

I was learning about creating brands, and making them endure. That was what I wanted to do, it always has been.

I looked at the team I was working with and knew that I was at the beginning of the right path for me. I wanted to be a Senior Brand Designer within two years, a Design Manager within four, a Creative Director within 10 and a CEO within 20. The ride was full of learning, I was blessed with loads of mentoring from extremely gifted people. 

 

By the time I left the company I had collected solid branding experience in multiple industries and I felt the need to start my own branding company, focused on a simple and yet powerful idea: 

 

Brands are significant pieces of culture that, when built strong and filled with deep meaning, can transcend time, evolve with the world and occupy a beloved meaningful place in people’s lives. 

 

Everything we do is guided by this thought.
